We want all our students to be able to book courses with confidence. That’s why we are offering a simple promise with our COVID Booking Guarantee.

If you need to change your course because of COVID-19, you can choose to postpone to 2023 (at 2022 prices) or ask for a full refund (except for any bank or currency conversion fees). Accommodation can be postponed, but not refunded.

COVID-19 in Scotland

In Edinburgh, there are no legal restrictions. Masks are optional in all places, including shops and public transport.

Measures in the School

Alba English is open for face-to-face classes as normal. There is no social distancing or other restrictions.

Coming to Scotland

There is no need to take a COVID test or show that you have been vaccinated before travelling to Scotland. You do not need to complete any forms.

What happens if I get sick during my course?

If you feel sick (with COVID or anything else), don’t worry, we have options for you:

• Part-time students (taking 9 or fewer classes per week) can pause their course and take the classes at the end.
• Full-time students (taking 10 or more classes per week) can choose to pause their course and take the classes at the end or have their two face-to-face classes in the morning replaced by a one-hour private online class.
