Welcome to Alba English School
Our mission is to provide high-quality English classes to international people in Edinburgh and help them make the best of their time in Scotland.
Our dedicated team of friendly, qualified and dynamic teachers will help you learn English. We believe in useful lessons that students can really engage in,
learn in and enjoy with activities for interactive learning.
We are not just a school; we are proud to be a place to exchange stories, share cultures and make new friends. Many of our students have called Alba English a ‘home from home’

We are based in the heart of the beautiful Scottish capital. We are only 2 minutes from The Meadows – Edinburgh’s largest park and the best spot to see the Cherry blossoms in Spring. 86-92 Causewayside, Edinburgh, EH9 1PY
Dynamic and small group classes
We have 5 bright classrooms that can seat a maximum of 12 students each. We have a kitchen where students can enjoy their coffee break and lunch. It is also the perfect room to socialise with other students.
