What is a random fact about you?

I lived in Incheon, South Korea for four years.

Where and what have you studied?

I studied Finance and Business Law at Strathclyde University, Glasgow.

Why do you like being an English teacher?

I love teaching English, it gives me the opportunity to meet people from many different cultures and allows me to see various cultures from a unique perspective. English is an international language in every sense of the word and opens doors in many aspects of life.

What do you like about Edinburgh?

It’s the perfect city to wander around aimlessly and feel inspired. It’s ideally situated close to the beautiful beaches in East Lothian, and the stunning countryside in the Borders. It also has an international feel about it, and we can find food, cinema and people from all over the world.

What do you like about Alba English School?

The friendly atmosphere and the hardworking students.

What do you do in your free time?

I love cooking, cinema, reading and driving!

If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be?

I’d like to go to Alice’s Wonderland.

If you could take only three items with you to a deserted island, what would they be?

A knife, a ball, lots of tea.

If you could have dinner with a famous person (dead or alive), who would it be and why?

Billy Conolly – he’s a master story teller

What’s your favourite place in Edinburgh?

The Botanical Gardens.
